I have been thinking about a review of Sergey Forkosh's course "Phenomenological Psychology" for a month.
I hear so many empty, meaningless words in everyday life and conversations now even more. It is scary to describe the course with them.
And it is difficult to describe the course accurately.
Because something unusual happened and it is not yet realized what.
Like being born in a new world and now you have to experience a lot before growing up.
Like the birth of a child. Life has changed, all views on the world are different, but for now I have remained the same, but different.
After the course, Sergey left the closed platform for communication and we discussed the anime "Spirited Away". The girl experienced something, changed, but for her parents this time passed unnoticed, like nothing.
The course gave everything that was promised. An example of thinking was shown, not a course of academic knowledge that can be read. Each lesson was so beautifully prepared and conducted that, like after a brilliant performance, there was an ever longer pause before the internal applause. The assignments for independent work are designed in such a way that it is impossible not to start thinking when you do them. At your level, of course. Help in selecting philosophical and other literature was very important.
The level of the course is so high, and the pace and rhythm of life, the need for thinking are so primitive now that it was difficult to switch to listening and learning. But if something did work out, then it was worth it.
And it's not about the complexity. "Everything is so close and simple that this is the complexity"
I am very grateful to Sergey for his time and work! I hope he will have inspiration and time for teaching!
